DigitalSENTRY 4.1
The DigitalSENTRY (DS) 4.1 software release introduces additional IT-focused functionality including network health monitoring, support for the DS 1000 digital video monitoring system (DVMS) and increased IP camera counts.
Network health monitoring enables the use of simple network management protocol (SNMP) to monitor any Integral DVMS alongside other networked devices. This application provides early warning signs of network or hardware failure by notifying the user via e-mail, or visual and audible alert options, resulting in faster response and greater system uptime.
DS 1000’s channel count, frame rate and compression technology provide a perfect solution for today’s mainstream applications by offering 16- and 32-channel configurations, capturing five to ten frames per second at CIF resolution. The MPEG-4 compression technology provides a smaller file size with improved image quality. By simultaneously supporting both IP and analog cameras, the DS 1000 offers a truly flexible hybrid solution.
In addition to the release of DS 4.1, Integral’s DS NVR is now offered in 32-channel configuration. DS 1000 / DS XPress / DS RealVue now support 16-channels of IP video and DS NVs have improved performance numbers for the 64-channel configuration.
