DS RealVue RAID
DS RealVue Digital Video Management Solutions are the security industry’s first 32 channel real-time digital video recorders. These single chassis systems are capable of simultaneously recording 32 cameras at 30 frames per second at full D1 resolution. DS RealVue products are broadcast quality recorders with the DigitalSENTRY feature set that high security applications such as gaming, money counting and corrections require. The advanced compression technology captures images as small as 1k @ CIF resolution. This results in smaller storage requirements and reduced network bandwidth. The DigitalSENTRY client software provides the ability to simultaneously view live or recorded video at 30 frames per second, D1 resolution, from up to 9 channels over the network. DS RealVue recorders can be seamlessly integrated with existing DigitalSENTRY components to provide a solution that combines real-time recording and lower frame rates to meet unique customer demands.
DS RealVue RAID offers a high level of fault tolerance and redundancy. Both power supplies and hard drives are hot-swappable, so that in the event of a failure, the operating system data and recorded data are safe and intact while the system continues to record. The internal RAID 10 hard drives, allow for full redundancy of the operating system, video and audio data. The unique XIO (External Input Output) panel centralizes all video and audio connection points, so upgrade and service access is quick and simple. DS RealVue reduces overall equipment space requirements by supporting up to 40 total cameras (32 analog and 8 IP) and up to 32 channels of audio in one recorder. With the smaller file size, the number of days of video that can be stored locally on one box increases, lowering overall system cost and making DS RealVue RAID an unmatched value in real-time video recording.
